Ginninderra Wind Orchestra had the opportunity to do a concert with the Tongan Royal Corps of Musicians on Wednesday 5th April, 2006.
The performance consisted of our band playing a few pieces, including our latest eisteddfod piece, a few pieces from Lyneham High Senior band including In All Its Glory, for the first hour. After a short intermission the Royal Corps setup and gave us half an hour of fantastic brass band entertainment. The next half hour was a mixture of band, singing and cultural dancing of types. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all who attended!
